Refund policy
Gifts Box supplies physical and often perishable gift items, and will refund or replace these goods only under specific conditions. As many of our goods are perishable or custom-curated, they are non-returnable. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect due to an error on our side, we will gladly replace or refund the affected items. Your right to a refund is limited by these Terms and Conditions. We will not be held liable for any failure to perform where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Gifts Box reserves the right to refund or replace goods only when the complaint is reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Perishable or fragile items may react differently depending on handling, weather, transport conditions, or recipient care. Once delivered, the goods become the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot guarantee the lifespan or condition of items once they have been received. If there is an issue with your order, please email Lauren@giftsbox.co.za with a clear photograph and explanation of the concern, and we will respond in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Customer Queries or Complaints
We take great pride in the quality of our gifting products and aim to deliver a seamless and delightful customer experience. If you are not satisfied with the goods or service received, or if you have any questions, please email Lauren@giftsbox.co.za and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly.
Cooling-Off Period for Electronic Transactions
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA), may apply to your order. If you qualify as a defined consumer under ECTA, you may be entitled to cancel certain electronic transactions within seven days, without reason or penalty. This cancellation requires that goods be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Upon receipt of such returned goods, we will refund the purchase price within 30 days of the date of cancellation.
